There are some good points and the compatibilities are helpful reads. I am a bit put off by the the bitter undertone the author has towards some of the signs. For instance, Leo females. It reflects in some of the descriptions. Not all Leo women are self-absorbed, lazy attention whores.

An unexplainable tension was there when I first introduced to my Cap six months ago. I was pretty nervous I could not even look at him straight in the eyes. After coincidentally bumping into each other every now and then, he asked me to dinner, I accepted and we hit it off from that point. We saw each other almost every day. He even organized a few simple, romantic outings and introduced me to his friends. All was great, but then he started to shift. I thought he was trying to end things but he still asked me out from time to time and it’s hard for me to say no.

After left hanging around frustrated for three months, I confronted him. He apologized, saying that things went too fast and he got freaked out. !!-(typical Cap)-!! He likes me but he just wants us to take time to get to know each other and let the relationship progress slowly. Besides, he got the impression that I had already given up on him as I seemed indifferent about the situation (GO LEOS!) I really wish I had opened up to him sooner!

My cap is very accomplished, straightforward, smart, hardworking, kind, and reliable, but he can be emotionally selfish and distant at times. We agree to keep things on the down low for now as we have to keep it professional at work. I’m in my mid 20s, he’s 14 yrs my senior and has never married. I’ve checked our compatibility chart and it says 50/50. XD He has Moon in Pieces, Venus-Mars in Sagittarius, not sure about his ascendant but it could be Leo. I’m a Leo and have been with my Capricorn man for four years, during which we had two breakups. I had never been in love so strongly before until I met this man and he felt the same towards me too. I had always thought he’s a very typical Capricorn – work oriented, determined, loyal, etc, until we hit our first breakup. It lasted for a few months but during that time he went out with another female who’s a Pisces, whom I believe provided him more harmony as such. He kept this relationship with that female to himself and no other people but I found it out. When we got back together, I confronted him, because I needed to know that he would not change his mind again and that I was quite insecure at that moment. He denied and the more I pushed, the more he felt stressed and he ran off again and that led to our second breakup. When he came back to me this time, he admitted the relationship with that girl and he said it was a short but happy relationship. He even praised that girl in front of me (and I’m SOOOOOOOO jealous because he has never praised any girls he’s been out with before). The other thing was they worked in the same field and since he’s such a work oriented person, I could almost feel how much he enjoy talking with her and being with her. Yes, he loves his job but because it’s a professional field and that I don’t work or know anything in that field, the most I can do is being a listener. But for him, that girl was not only a listener, he could ask for advice, he could share problems or challenges with her, etc. We have been back together for 8 months now, only the last 3 months our relationship became more steady. The first five months it always felt like a rocky road – like one minute he was so loving and caring and the next minute his mind was in somewhere else (bet he was thinking of her). I always thought Capricorns had a very high loyalty nature and I never believed he would fall for another female. And because of that, I’ve lost so much of my self-confidence. I sometimes blame myself for not being a more understanding person before, and if so we wouldn’t hit the first breakup and there wouldn’t be a footprint of a better woman in his heart. I’m trying my best, and I can now feel he’s making his efforts too to work hard on rebuilding trust in our relationship. I think deep down he still loves me and cares about me. But I think he’s not as romantic as before. Perhaps it’s to do with ‘he still thinks of the other girl’ ?? I don’t know…. I hope time heals and helps.

i know now that as a leo we have to learn to just relax and take it slow with cappy…….he’s mostly in his own world and we can’t take it personal…..learn to love your cappy for who he is….i noticed with my cap that the more i relaxed the more he opened up when he came back around….it’s very rewarding if we are patient with them …never push or be aggressive it only pushes them further away…..i really love my cappy and when he’s in his mood i let him be cuz nothing else works

Im a Leo woman and I dated a capricorn male for a little over 3 months and intially, I could not stand him. We are sooooo different from eachother (personality wise) and he just drove me nuts!!!

After spending more time with him, I stopped being so critical of our differences and I actually started falling for him. We could laugh and chill and have a good time together but at times his snobbiness would kill the mood and we would be back at square one.

Wen things were goin well between us, it was good. He was sweet, a complete gentlemen and very cool. But he also was very arrogrant, standoff-ish, preoccupied, MOODY and very critical and judgemental.

The latter parts of his character drove me crazy b/c as time progressed his moodiness increased and he seemed to become more distant. He barely called or txted me, yet wen eva we would hang out, he was all over me and it definately sent me mixed messages so i often felt confused.

With me being a Leo, I have a need for attention and he just didnt give me enough. So Leo’s, if ur dating a capricorn, plz be advised that u will be left hanging more times than not. His distance made me feel unimportant and it gave me the impression that he was ice-cold…

I also could not stand how timid and reserved he was. Leo’s are bold and like to be seen and heard and he was just the complete opposite. The whole idea of public display of affection made him boil with anger and that bothered me. I wanted everyone to kno i was his girl and that he was my man, but he definately was not feelin that.

His moodiness, lack of attention for me, and reserved nature pushed me away and that was the final straw.

There are too many chances for clashing in this type of combination and I would steer clear of Capricorns if ur a Leo or u will drive urself crazy tryin to figure him out and its so not worth all tha damn trouble because you will end up feeling like you’ved worked too hard for nothing.

Coincidentally, I am a Leo with moon in Capricorn while he is a Capricorn with moon in Leo! Not only that, but our rising signs are also fantastically compatible too! [I am Leo rising, he is Sagittarius.]

I must say, his sun sign most definitely does not do his entire persona justice. His controversial sun and moon signs work wonders in his favor; he gives and takes the best and worst from each and weaves them into a beautiful personality. I see non of the usual nit-picky Capricorn cheapskate here, but rather a brilliant and hardworking man with eccentric ideas that more than often end in success. Although he is a conservative at heart, he never gives a second thought when it is required of him to spend for someone else. Not to mention the wonderful things that come out of the man’s mouth! His communicative skills are just oozing with charm and articulacy. We are looking at a very intelligent and just as proud man here. Definitely not a spineless wimp, he is a man’s man, and I LOVE it.

Problems do arise when we get into our rare arguments though. Although the substance may be shallow, our stubborn tendencies often prove too much for either one to submit and retreat.
