Well thanks I guess g_is_fishy. You are not short for words. I guess maybe I see things differnt and maybe thats my problem. I still dont really see how I am being to emotional or fast paced with things. She is the one that opens up calls me and then just disappears and acts strange. I just hate these sudden mood swings and find myself confused at times. But I thank you for your insight and thank you for being up front with me.

The last three woman I have been attracted to/had somewhat of a relationship with are gemini woman. There is something about the attraction between them two that is undeniable. I met a Gem guy earlier this week and instantly there were fireworks. It was like magic! We had our first date and we felt a strong connection. I recently started talking to a cancer man online, I am scorpio woman. We communicated everyday either by phone, text or skype, and when we met for the first time we got along really well, there was a chemistry, I felt so comfortable with him and I didn’nt want the evening to end. The next day we met for lunch, we talked as though we had known each other for years. We talked about trying for a long term relationship, and he asked me to move to his home town 400 miles away. I am on a diet and working on it and have been for a while anyway, these things take time, but I know I will get there, and I am doing it for me not for him. So this insult from him was like ‘kicking me while I am down’. I go through hating him tremendously and wanting to be with him. I am hurting and confused. I have been dating with a cancer man for 7 months who is much younger than me. For a year we were just like friends.
One day we stated dating but I couldn’t figure out if he really liked me or not. And it’s my paranoia but I was always denied my feeling for him due to age difference.
The other thing is his tempo is too slow.. He is the sweetest man I ever met but he is not showing anything about his love. But every time we get together, he just melts me so tenderly.. I don’t know really what to do. I guess I am in love.

i read a lot of the comments and read the compatibility chart…speaking as a gemini man falling in love with a cappi woman…well it isn’t the most easiest relationship…we are a bit of opposites that attract but that attraction i think is more companion based and less romantic based…as i’m seeing it we’d make perfect friends but when it comes to lovers well we both have to put our own desires on the back burner and support eachother…i do not know how long she will be patient and tolerate my easy going nature but my complex dual personality it will soon annoy her to an extreme…but for now she is patient and i appreciate that…had i known these things were sooo spot on i would’ve read this earlier…sooo there was no emotionalli attachment to romantic ideas…anyways Desnero had it right when she said any realtionship can work just depends on the people working at them…i have my fingers crossed…but i know now i have to prove my love and devotion…hahaha go figure…

@fish: the things that are annoying to you, would certainly be annoying to me too.

disrespectful, i wouldnt say. you want this, she wants that. its a free world and what is most important for both parties in a relationship is to feel they are ok with each other instead of feeling trapped and unable to make a choice that would make them happy.
if you twist my arm for an opinion, i would say that your girlfriend is in a different level of readiness than you to be in a serious relationship or you dont share the same set of basic principles. you seem ready to go exclusive, she is not that ready, i dont doubt she wants to be with you, but i do doubt her need for exclusivity. evidently she needs to have other people around to feel content. who knows, maybe she will never need exclusivity or maybe she is not yet mature enough to know what she wants. (or something else- geminis rarely know what is happening in the present)

I do understand the couples who dont feel exclusivity is a number one priority in the relationship but i reserve my right to not define such a thing as a relationship but as an unsuccesful effort of a person with commitment issues to commit.

there arent too many readings of what a good relationship looks like.. commitment and purity of feelings-in other words, exclusivity- are ideally very important for all people and thats exactly what we are struggling to accomplish in real life.anything less than that is human weakness and a discount to our principles.
